Sheree Carter

started her teaching career in 2009. She has 15+ years of experience teaching math in Title I schools. Her certifications are in Elementary Education, Math 5 – 9, and Math 6-12. Also is Reading and ESOL endorsed.

Sheree graduated from the University of Central Florida with a bachelors in education, and a master’s in Educational Technology and e-Learning. She has taught face-to-face as well as online through Florida Virtual School. Distance education is another area of expertise for her.

She is very passionate about helping struggling math students grow and excel in the subject. Having been a struggling math student herself, she knows exactly what it feels to walk in their shoes. The products she creates are used in her own classroom and are suited to fit the lowest performing student needs, while still challenging the more mathematically inclined students.

Sheree was almost fired her first year of teaching. She barely survived her first 90 days. Needless to say, she has bounced back astronomically. Part of her mission is to help other teachers become more efficient and effective at their job. Hoping to reduce teacher burnout, and reduce the amount of educators leaving the profession.

Her passion for helping more students like math, and for helping other teachers, birthed the the Lazy Learning Land platform.
